CNY in Dubai :)

DAY 1

for this year's CNY trip, the chosen place was Dubai

it is actually the Winter in the UAE (United Arab Emirates), so the weather's considered to be pleasant between 18-25c..fyi, during Summer the temperature would reach 50c! *faints*

after 8hours of Flight, we finally reached Dubai......

exhausted *yawns*

DAY 2

that's the Burj Al Arab, on the left..it's a SEVEN stars hotel!

there was a Surfboarding competition there, and we saw cute surfer dudes!

we were given 4hours to walk around in this Mall

it just reminds me of my Shopping time in Liverpool..I simply miss those days

and Ski Dubai is in this mall as well!

we wanted to go, but unfortunately is was closed for a private event that day

and so, we spent our time by taking silly pictures XD

next destination was the Lost Chambers Aquarium

this Jellyfish just attracts our attention

*scrub scrub scrub*

cleaning the Huge Aquarium!

Atlantis Hotel on the Palm Islands, it's a man made island!

and it's a 7 stars Hotel! if I'm not mistaken tho XD

DAY 3

this is the Grand Mosque and it's the only Mosque in Abu Dahbi that allows visitors to enter

what they're up to?

tadaaaaa! getting changed to enter the Mosque

all Ladies look the same, it was difficult to recognise one another XD

we wanted to take pic with Daddy, so as usual we were standing close la right..

then all of a sudden *whistle blowing* *a guy pointing to us*

I guess that means we can't stand close to Guys? ........................................ *swt!!!*

this Building is 40% leaner than the Pisa Leaning Tower!

am still very amazed with Flowers!

it just makes me miss Liverpool even more *sighssss*

had a so-called-french dinner

the main course was either Fish & Chips/Griled Chicken with Spaghetti

that part with light, is where Ski Dubai located!

although is was artificial snow, BUT STILL!

I think the last time I played with snow was back in 2003 (I mean while it was SNOWING; exculding the one at Switzerland few months back XD)?

ok, it's been quite awhile.."Dad! time to go somewhere during Winter? "

but unfortunately, my Dad prefers to go to the Beach aka somewhere HOT; rather than cold!  

ok then, "Mummmmmmmmmmm....!"

it was disappointing that we had only 1hour to play there, as they were closing already! *sighs*

DAY 4

goooood Morning everyone!

on the Abra (water taxi), crossing the creeks of Dubai to get to the Old City of Dubai.

we were being told NOT to take any pictures of the ladies, as they will then have the right to delete all our pictures  and so, I didn't took any pictures of them..

but, while I was snapping pics, this man just stood in front of me and said, "take me, take me"

I stunned for a few seconds *doubting if I should take his pic/will he ask me to pay him*

but I ended up taking, and my Mum asked for a pic with him as well!

In the evening, we went in a 4WD..

it's to the Desert!!! *super excited*

we were all expecting it to be super exciting, where we'll be going up/down/left/right!

but.......it was fun for a few seconds..and that's it..

ME WANT MORE!!

what's on our mind is that it'll be HOT! but surprisingly it was very windy...the weather's just nice!

I can't believe that CNY just passed by like that..it doesn't really feel like CNY to me..

somehow this year I don't seem to feel it as much as the year before 

oh well, I still did enjoyed myself in Dubai

and HAPPY CNY again!
